Mission Statement

Kultour is a national network of arts organisations that aims to increase awareness of Australian multicultural arts through touring. Kultour promotes excellence, and through its members produces and presents to a wide audience high quality, multifaceted work, reflecting all art forms.


Kultour - touring multicultural arts, changing Australian Culture

Established in 2001 by the Australia Council as an initiative of the Arts in a Multicultural Australia policy, Kultour operates as a not for profit Company Limited by Guarantee committed to increasing awareness of Australian multicultural arts through its annual touring program of Australian multicultural art.

Kultour provides opportunities for local professional artists to reach new audiences in new areas whilst the annual touring program offers audiences insight into multicultural issues and arts through a professional quality touring program.

Kultour's national network of Company Members represent organisations within each state and territory of Australia and between them have immense expertise in presenting and producing innovative and high quality work. Each Company Member of Kultour nominates a representative to act as Director on the Kultour Board.
