P U L S E 2012 / 2013

Call for Expressions of Interest from Australian artists and companies of diverse cultural backgrounds for involvement in PULSE - Kultour’s Artistic Development Program 2012/13 are NOW CLOSED. Please stat tuned

Kultour is excited to introduce PULSE, our new artistic development program.  PULSE builds upon the momentum of our annual touring program whilst providing a more holistic and tailored approach to the artistic development of an artist or company over a two-year period.   Kultour has identified that outside of touring there are myriad platforms and services that support an artist’s development and we are thrilled to be able to provide these opportunities to artists who are contributing to cultural diversity in the arts in Australia. Areas where we provide support are: producing, budgeting and finance, business acumen, funding/grant making processes, marketing, audience and/or community development, touring and establishing strategic partnerships and networks. Kultour also works with artists to identify and secure opportunities to undertake artistic internships, participate in artist-in residence programs, attend conferences and arts markets and other strategic presentation platforms.

Kultour is a national member-based company that activates and supports high quality arts practices that represents and reflects Australia’s contemporary multicultural society.  Expressions of interest are now open to all artists/companies of diverse cultural background with at least three years of demonstrable professional experience and whose practice is aligned with Kultour’s vision and values.

The selection of the successful PULSE 2012/13 Program applicants will be made by the Kultour Program Advisory Committee and applicants will be informed of the outcomes in March 2012.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.
