100% original funk, soul and ragga-infused hip hop, direct from Melbourne
Diafrix mixes traditional African rhythms with funk, ragga, dancehall, soul, reggae and hip hop in their urban music.
This is Positive Hip Hop with a cultural bent and a no swearing policy.
Diafrix use their flow to entertain and raise awareness of the African-Australian experience.
Diafrix have established themselves over the last seven years as one of Australia’s most exciting and original live acts.
Fronted by African-born MCs Azmarino and Momo, backed up by Haitian goddess Nadee, with lavish organic productions from
Ptero_Stylus and cuts from Wax Vandal, Diafrix know how to get the party started.
This tour is supported by Kultour: touring multicultural arts, changing Australian culture – a proud initiative of the
Australia Council for the Arts
The Contemporary Music Touring Program aims to give all Australians, wherever they live, better access to some of the
country’s best live contemporary music.
The Australian Government is proud to be associated with the Kultour tour of Diafrix.
